ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensures payroll is processed with speed and accuracy. Serves as liaison to team members and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies. Audits team members pay records, and reconciles totals by department, location, country, etc. Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly. Verifies compliance with federal and state payroll requirements, and stays current with changes in the law. Documents payroll processes and procedures. Ensures all processes and procedures meet government requirements. May assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings, related documentation, and SOX testing. May work with outsource vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in resolving difficult payroll issues.
Generates reports and recommendations based on analysis. Location: Onsite 5 days a week Years of Experience Required: 4+ years of Panama payroll experience. Interview: 2 rounds (possible) -30 min Description: Must Have Experience In: Candidate will be responsible of processing Panama Payroll (issuance of LOA & Retirement letters, Analysis of Personal Deductions, Audit of Deduction - biweekly frequency, Case Management).
