Patient Access Manager
The Patient Access Manager will oversee the daily operations of the scheduling specialist's team and will drive operational improvement by consistently coaching and providing actionable feedback to accomplish strategic and operational objectives, while maintaining performance KPI's and client satisfaction.
Responsabilidades del Puesto
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership to the scheduling specialist's team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in appointment scheduling processes.
- Maintain, within the team, adequate discipline and adherence to all compliance requirements as established by company policies.
- Utilize data analytics to drive operational improvements and enhance campaign productivity.
- Take ownership of campaign performance, ensuring high productivity and client satisfaction.
- Monitor individual and team performance metrics, to provide regular feedback to scheduling specialists regarding performance and areas of opportunity.
Requisitos del puesto
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (required)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Fluent and proficient verbal and written English language.
- Experience applying analytical and operational thinking, implementing action plans, providing clear direction, and following up on goals.
- Experience managing, leading, and developing people, preferably in US healthcare and US insurance fields.
- Excellent problem solving, leadership, and attention to detail skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing and leading large teams in a call center environment.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, US insurance plans, and EMRs.
- Basic understanding of computer systems such as MS Office products and computerized scheduling systems.
- Experience with software programs: Meditech, Epic, Cerner, is a plus.
- Medical Scheduling experience (2 years) is a plus.
- CPAR certification preferred.
