With over 40 years of experience in the collection industry, we offer a range of specialized services including debt collections, quality assurance and monitoring, customer satisfaction surveys, administrative assistance, and more. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent support and solutions to our clients' diverse needs.

Position Summary:
Pre-Registration Representative is responsible for providing estimates and collecting balances owed by patients prior to receiving services. They are also responsible for properly registering patients for their upcoming appointment.

Responsabilidades del Puesto

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contacting and communicating with patients who have procedures scheduled, but have not had those procedures yet
Verifying if self-pay patients have any insurance not documented in client system
Verifying that insurance information in the client system is accurate
Determining the patient liability estimate - emphasis on estimate
Communicates hospital financial policies to all patients
Collects on self-pay accounts, co-pay, deductibles and co-insurance
Update the patient accounts on multiple client systems
Responsible to meet production targets for collections, pre-registrations and phone calls.
Other duties as directed by management

Requisitos del puesto

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Intermediate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to read and understand a variety of information presented in different formats from a variety of sources
Working knowledge of health insurance and insurance verification process.
