What’s the role

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) ensures that all technical developments for IVR implementations (Genesys Cloud) and next-generation AI chatbots (Cognigy) are delivered efficiently, leveraging internal resources, third-party providers, or contractors. This document serves as a comprehensive guide and includes a RACI matrix for clarity of responsibilities.

- Project Manager (PM): Responsible for follow-ups and overall project tracking.
- Technical Product Owner (TPO): Defines and prioritizes technical requirements.
- Solution Architect (SA): Develops technical designs and ensures alignment with the overall architecture.

Description

- Oversee technical project execution and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage contracts and SLAs with third-party providers and contractors.
- Collaborate with the TPO and stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Review and approve technical designs in collaboration with the SA.
- Monitor resource allocation and escalate risks or bottlenecks.
- Ensure technical documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Manage overall project timelines, budget, and scope.
- Follow up on task completion and flag delays to the TDM.
- Ensure proper communication and reporting of project progress.

Calificaciones

Required Education / Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to oversee and manage technical project execution, including budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Understanding of technical design and system integration to evaluate and approve technical designs.
- Experience in identifying risks and bottlenecks early, with the ability to escalate and mitigate issues.
- Demonstrable experience in effective coordination with internal teams, contractors, third-party providers, and stakeholders.
- Strong focus on maintaining complete and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Proven experience defining product requirements and aligning them with business objectives.
- Ability to work closely with the TDM and stakeholders to prioritize tasks and manage the backlog.
- Ability to develop detailed technical designs, particularly for IVR (Interactive Voice Response) and chatbot solutions.
- Experience in leading teams, resolving conflicts, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
- Quick identification of issues and the ability to find and implement solutions.
