Position summary
As part of the Zone Americas Procurement Finance team, you will play a pivotal role by acting as a Co-Pilot to the heads of procurement of different markets of the Zone while also supporting market controllers in their various functions. Additionally, you will participate in projects and collaborate with markets to enhance procurement finance operations across Americas, focusing on best market practices, guidelines, processes, and leveraging shared service centers.

A day in a life of a Procurement Controller - Zone Americas

- Serve as a trusted Co-Pilot for markets and procurement heads, providing guidance and insights on cost evolution, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Lead the procurement reporting process for Zone Americas, ensuring the quality of market submissions and proactively engaging with markets to mitigate risks.
- Provide guidance to ZAMS market procurement controllers on a variety of topics including but not limited to reporting, guidelines, processes, compliance.
- Work closely with the procurement and and operations controllers in the markets providing insights on direct and indirect material costs (forecast, actuals, risks and opportunities amongst other).

What makes you successful

- Prior controlling, copilot or audit experience is a must
- University degree, preferably in Business Administration or Finance
- Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) experience is a major plus
- Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for this role with the ability to formulate very clear messaging
- Demonstrated ability to influence and steer discussions
- Strong capacity to perform under pressure is necessary
